Show Light and Actinism. A very able lecture on this subject was delivered by C. It. Savage, Esq., in the main hall of the Fourteenth Ward Assembly Rooms, yesterday eyenipg, under the auspices of tho Voting Sleu' Institute. This gentleman gentle-man has a very pleasing method of imparting information. His illustrative illustra-tive diagrams were graphic and the chemical experiments eminently successful, suc-cessful, the audience frequently rising to their feet with exclamations of astonishment as-tonishment and delight. The language lan-guage used was mainly the plain and forcible Anglo Saxon, and when it became be-came necessary to use" scientific terms they were made plain to the comprehension compre-hension of the youngest present. At the conclusion of the lecture a vote of thanks was tendered him by the members of the Institute. |
