A gentleman was selected to receive the outfit and pay the prize money At the appointed hour Lloyd, with the plunder, put in an appearance and demanded the fifty dollars, but as the other was about to pay the sum the police who had been on the watch for the thief nabbed Lloyd and jailed him. Yesterday he had an examination ex-amination in the police court and was held to appear in the Probate Court for trial in bonds of $500, failing fail-ing to give which he was. cominitted to jail. |
