Show RETURN OF PRESIDENT YOUNG President Brigham Voting, President Presi-dent Geo. A. Smith, and' party, arrived ar-rived in this city yesterday afternoonj at -1 o'clock, coming in by the regular regu-lar Southern train. The party left St. George on the 6th inst., and while en route have held meetings in several of the prominent towns through which they passed. As our readers are already al-ready aware, Saturday and Sunday last were spent at Xcphi, Juab county, coun-ty, where two days 'meetings were held. All the meetings held by the party were very largely attended,' the people coming com-ing in from tho neighboring settlements settle-ments to see and hear Presidents Young and Smith and the Elders with them. They left Ncphi on Sunday afternoon and came on to Fayson where a meeting was held in the evening, and yesterday morning they orove to Provo in time to connect con-nect with the Utah Southern train at 12:00. At Provo and Sandy they were met by parties of frionds from this city, all along the route the party was greeted by many of the citizens, and in this city large numbers had assembled as-sembled at tho depot before the arrival of tie train and all along South Temple street the sidewalks between the depot and the Eagle Gato were lined with men, womenand children, who, notwithstanding notwith-standing the stormy character of the weather, had , assembled, anxious anx-ious to catch a glimpse of tho Presi-; dent as ho passed up the street, thus showipg their respect and loye for the man who has done so much for tbem and for the whole Territory of Utah.
