Show A Nuisanca. Salt Lake Citv, April 18, 1871. Editors Herald: I see a notice iu this morning's paper in relation to nuisances, and requesting people to clean their yards, and also prohibiting them from keeping keep-ing any "vat, pit or pool of standing! water whether for tanners, dressers of other uso." I Llijnk if our Marshal McAllister, would take a promenade in the western part of the city on Second South street, ono block west of the Court House, on the right hand side ol the street, come to a audden halt about live rods from the corner and turn to the right, he will find the vats, pools, skinner's scraps and dead dogs' nead quarters, on the premises of ap old abandoned tannery. It would be an appreciated act if tlic nuisance were abated immer diately. It is a disgrace to the city. It might bo theso deud dogs were placed in the vats or pools for tanners' purposes or other usps and if ep, they should be taken care of before- they spoil. Quo who Uvea in the neighborhood. |
