Show The Race. Kdihr Herald: A wrong impression might be gained gain-ed from reading your account of the race between "Walking John" and "Irish Girl," at Faust's track, last Thursday. It was stated that "Girl" flew the track and ran across the field, and that "had sho kept the courso she would undoubtedly have come out ahead." The facta are these: "Girl" flew the track and ran about three feet off, for a distance of sixty yards, but she came out between be-tween the judges nnd twenty feet ahead of "John." The judges on the ground decided that "Girl" won the race, but afterwards one of them reversed his deoision. John Whitney, Judge. W. Madejt. B. Lev v. M. Marsdes. James Gordon'.
