Show Great Tea Bale. In another column of this morning's morn-ing's Herald will he found an ad vertisement received by telegraph, last night, from San Francisco, announcing an-nouncing a large auction sale of teas by S. L. Joihes &. Co., the popular auctioneer: of San F rancisoo, on Wednesday next, April Sth, at ten o'clock a.m. This lot consists of 4,000 packages, new crop Japan teas, in assorted packages, comprising one pound and half-pound papers, lacquered lac-quered boxes in three, four and a-half, five and ten pound packages, and large fancy cases, being the latest importation im-portation of Messrs. C. Adolphe Low &, Jo. Dealers in this market have plenty of time to send their orders by mail iu time for the sale if given immediately im-mediately but the surest means is to telegraph. As both the importers and the auctioneers are well known here, we need scarcely add that they are thoroughly reliable. |
