Show Accidental Poisoning. We regret to have to chronicle this morning the accidental poisoning and subsequent death, last evening, of Fllie Fay, an intelligent and interesting interest-ing daughter of Walter and U. H. Conrad, aged three years and nine months. The child was visiting its grandmother, yesterday afternoon, and seeing a piece of cheese in the cupboard, cup-board, picked it up and tasted it, but not liking the flavor, laid it down again. Xothing was thought of the child's act until she was seized with spasms, which became so violent that medical assistance was called in, when it was found to be a case of poisoning, the unfortunate little one having accidentally ac-cidentally got hold of a piece of cheese prepared to poison mice. The parents have our slnccrest and keenest sympathy in this lamentable and unexpected bereavement. |
