In Town. Sam!. L. Wallace, for some months connected with the Deseret Telegraph office here, takes his departure by Ibis morning's stage for Salt Lake. Mr. Wallace, by his afiability and courtesy to all with whom ho has been thrown in business or social contact, con-tact, has made many friends. He will not return again for some weeks. Piorhe 'ecorJ. Mr. Wallace arrived 4n Salt Lake last evening, and looked in at the Hi:i:Ar.n office. He will remain in the city about a week. His reputation reputa-tion as a "lightning" telegrapher, vhocan take as many words a minute min-ute as any operator can send, is well known from Lake Michigan to the Pacific. We are pleased to welcome Mr. Wallace to Salt Lake.
