Iiatli of O. i:. Halt's. We learned yesteiday with regret of the death on Sunday night, of Or-rnus Or-rnus E. Bates at his residence at the mouth of East Canon, the news being received by private telegram. Mr. Bates has been suffering at intervals for some time, with an internal ailment, ail-ment, believed to be heart disease, and it is supposed that this was the cause of his death. He was in town about a couple of weeks ago, and though feeble, his friends had no thought of death claiming hurt so soon for a victim.
