Report was just ro-i ro-i ceived here that a man named Mor-ras, Mor-ras, a shecji herder, and another, name unknown, were killed yesterday, yester-day, near Milquatay, by Jnflians, . t it supposed there are no further particulars, par-ticulars, The Arizona Citizen, of Tucson, Sept. 6th., savs there ia news from Camp McDowell, to tho cflbot that, about twenty-five miles east of old Camp Reno, C. C. Price, packmaster, and a party of tlu-ee soldiers were fired on by Apaches, Onp soldior, it was feared, was mortally wounded. The body of a white man was found below Wickenburg, August '2$. It is thought he died of thirst,. Ho had crossed 20 miles of desert, from Phoenix to Aqua Calient. He had no effects, save a memorandum book, with the names of James Hall in several places. There appear also the names of Thomas Jones, Mike McDonald, Geo. MoLaln, and others. He is thought to have been a discharged dis-charged soldier or a deserter. |
