Show IT IS CALLED BLACKS! AILING. AIL-ING. It is the Chicago Tribune that thus speaks: It is the opiuion of both the TIeraijd and the Journal, of Salt Lake Citv, pretty plainly expressed, that the di-voreo di-voreo suit brought against Brigham Young by Arm Eliza Webb, one of hw plural wives, is notliing more nor less Mian n. IJuj-Unia-ilinsr opr.nit.imi. Tt is very certain that no suit for divorce can be entertained in the United States courts between a seventeenth wife, the other sixteen being alive, and a polygamjst. The purpose of the suit must, thereibro, have been something besides the procuring of a divorce, which the lawyers of Mrs. Young No. 17 know perfectly well cannot be obtained. It is predicted that thero will be a compromise, and the Salt Lake Journal is of the opinion that Mr. Young will come down handsomely hand-somely in order to prevent an expose I of his domestic allairs. Many a man, not a polygamist, would do us much. |
