Sloan, of Iliiliard, Wyoming, Wyo-ming, on Fridav last, was struck on the head by a fallirg tree, having his skull crushed in, and being rendered at once insensible. His right side became paralyzed soon after, and he died the next day. The man 's name was unknown. He came to Air. Sloan on Friday, asking for work. He failed to give his name, but told some parties with whom he conversed that he was an Austrian, and had been working in Little Cottonwood Canon. He was some forty-live years of age, alioutsix feet in heighth, with sallow complexion, dark hair, and thin board and mustache. The whole crown of his head was bald. He had no baggage nor cUects, but the clothes lie wore, His remains were cared for and burial under direction of Mr. Sloan, with whom parties knowing know-ing anything of the man or his relatives rela-tives should communicate, in order that they may be informed of his fate. |
