Show Reducing Ores. Mr. J. R. Kio-hols, Kio-hols, whose absence has been noticeable notice-able for some time, has got back from his trip to the east- He has issued a very lucid and interesting pamphlet, entitled a prospectus of his metallurgical metallur-gical works in Utah, which should be in the hands of all who are anxiou3 to save money in the reduction of low grade ores. His process is Krom's dry ore concentrator, of which he has secured se-cured the exclusive right for Utah. Mr. Nichols was accompanied by Mr. W. 0. Davis, from the O'Hara glass works, Pittsburg, Pa., who also expects to remain here, and is versed in the reduction of iron ores by a process pro-cess which does not require the use of blast or puddling furnaces, convene the ores into a pure iron without loss, and at a cost of $20 to $25 less than by the blast furnace process. |
