Show i In a Critical Condition. The numerous friends of Dr. F. D. Benedict Bene-dict will be alarmed to learn that he is in a very critical condition, so much so that it is highly questionable if he will pass tho day without a serious change-Should change-Should the expected change take place, ho will double; and though his happiness may be unimpaired, single blessedness will no longer be a Bcurco of enjoyment for him. Then "farewell all earthly honors," and "the like," for matrimonial joys will be too ecstatic and etherial to be considered things of this sublunary sphere, lie will then become a benedict in very deed, and thouyh the "soother of his sorrows" and roper in of his professional lees will not grow suddenly agt.d, she will certainly not be so Young as she is at present.
