Show Theatre. "The Honeymoon" was presented last night to a slim hou?e, and the leading roles w-re cxcelknt'y rendered. Mr. Bates as Duke Axanza, Miss Walters as Juliana, and Mr. Margetts as the mock Duke gave capital impersonations, and the regret was that so few witnessed a most enjoyable en-joyable performance. "That Blessed Baby" concluded. To night "Caste" leads the bill, with Mr. Bates as old EccIes.Miss Welters as Esther, and a foil distribution of partf. It will be followed by "The Artful Dodge," Mr. Margetts doing the amiable gentleman who does the dodging. dodg-ing. This is another good comedy bill, and the entertainment promised is attractive. The sensation drama "East and West" is in preparation. |
