Show Sitplies for the U. P. R. R- A tr.iiu of some five cars, loaded with provisions, left this city on Sunday for the passengers blockaded on tho U. P. II. K. and the force of men employed shoveling snow. Thera arc fifteen hundred, or move, of tho latter, actively ac-tively engaged endeavoring to get tho trains through. Walker Bro's and Z. (J. M. I. filled tho oider, and Mr. Geo. II. Knowlden supplied tho flour. The stores consisted of crackers, canned good?, groceries and everything that was necessary for Tho sustenance and comfort as far as possible of those to whom they were sent. |
