The trains coming west arc expected ex-pected about 2 p.m. They arc west of all tho blockade, and if they get to Bitter creek this afternoon, thoy should! reach Ojjden in the morning. The passenger trains lelt Creston Cres-ton last night at S o'clock. They arc stuck yet on Creston hill. It is upon this report I based my telegram of ia;fc night. T. S. Cunningham. By W. U.Telcerai.h.J Corinne, 10. Mr. Aulbach, a passenger pas-senger on one of the western bound trains, furnishes the following: Hitter Creek, Feb. 10, S p. in. The blockade is raised; all trains have arrived ar-rived here. Six days coming from Rawlins toCreston, twenty-seven miles. The snow cuts were very deep and the snow packed hard. Supplies were better bet-ter from Rawlins, due to the efforts of general Ord, who telegraphed the condition con-dition of tho passengers to tho commander com-mander at Fort Steele. Three thousand thous-and six hundred rations of fresh bread were issued and sent to the trains, by teams. Thero has been much sickness and ono death. There is general rejoicing re-joicing at the deliveranco from the blockade. The trains will probably be at Ogden in the morning. SrW.U.Tclofraiihd Medicine Bow, 16. Two or three passenger trains and a pay car left Lookout this morning, coming west. ! We don't look for them hero for two days. Hitter Creek, 16, S:30 p.m. Seven traius bouud west have arrived here. Three have started west, one at 6:30 and one at 7. One is just leaving, and the others go soon. They arc transferring transfer-ring baggage and mails from U. F. cars to 0. F. cars. There are two freight traius following these passenger trains, which will leave after them. It is reported that three trains and a pay car left Lookout this mornin?, and they are expected at Medicine How tomorrow. to-morrow. The two eastern bound trains have not left Bitter Creek yet. By W. The blockade between Medicine Bow and Lookout is in a fairway to be ! broken, if the weather keeps fair. This is the worst part of the blockade. |
