The newspapers have recently had much to say about the seven day's wonder out of the fact that quiet, sensible people have been induced to emhrace the faith of the Mormon church, as ex pounded by Bnghatn Young and his predecessor, Joe cmith, and leave pleasant and comfortable homes to t ike up a residence among the saints at Salt Lake eity. But our Indiana exchanges may now cease their homi hes on the deierioration of the "Yan kees," and turn their attention borne ard, where Mormonism is making quite as rapid headway as in the Empire Em-pire state. At the present time a Mormon revival revi-val is in progress about fifteen miles from New Albany, in a church of the christian denomination, wnich the trustees have given the Latter day Saints the privilege of using. This church is located about three miles from 2N"ew Providence, Clark county. I hese meetings are conducted by a Mormon evangelist from Salt Lake, aud it is said he is creating an intense excitement by his preaching. Already fifteen persons have given their adhe sioH to the Mormon church, and the "tevival" progresses without abatement. abate-ment. We are informed that one family, consistin of six persons, have all jo'tied the church, and will soon leave lor Salt Lake.
