This township has some excellent grazing land. The water is every year increasing and will soon be sufficient for irrigating purposes. This township has some excellent grazi ;g land and yearly furnishes a large amount of hay. Township 19 south, range 3 west, containing 1;2S0 acres. Township 20 south, range 4 west, in which is situated Cedar Springs city in section 2 The township town-ship contains 26.593 75 '00 acres, and lias a . considerable extent of good farming and grazing land. Fillmore city,, the former capital of Utah, is situated in this township. The canons contain hirge deposits of a first-class -day suitable suit-able for the nianuiactuie of China ware. Good quarries of limestone and red fund stone are in the east moun tains, which will afford an inexhaustible supply of Jxiilding material. On the mountains are pine, cedar and scrub oak.
