Show Fink Work. There are some fine specimens of workmanship to be seen just now in the large window cf Emporium Em-porium Buildings, executed by workmen work-men of this city. The cornices over the looking glasses, on either side of the entrance, by Mr. W. Paul, 20i.li Ward, are very excellent ; so is the graining by Msrs. Midgley & Evans ; and the papering on the new covering for the window, by Mr. Fowler, elicits comments of admiration. Good workmen work-men will show their ability with fair opportunity, and these men have well carried out thc design of making the Emporium window sail more a:tn.:t-ive a:tn.:t-ive iu beauty and fine display. The dry goods department is doinr a splendid splen-did trade. |
