Show School Exercises. The closing exercises of the Summer term of Mrs. M. E. Randall's school took place on Friday afternoon, commencing at two o'clock. There was a full attendance of pupils, numbering forty-five. President Pres-ident George A. Smith and Col. D. McKenzie were present, as were also Miss M. Cook and pupils, who took part in the exercises, which consisted of select readings, speaking and reading read-ing the little paper issued in the school, called ';The Queen of the School." No. 0, Vol. I, was read by Miss Sarah C. Eakle, its editress; No. 12, Vol. 1, by Miss Clarissa Smith, its editress. The papers were quite interesting in-teresting and the pupils who eoutiibut-ed eoutiibut-ed deserve much credit, us well as i their preceptre s, Mrs. Randall. Tho school has been admirably conducted, and ought to receive a large addition of pupils when the next term commences, com-mences, on Monday, October 10.
