Show .,,I't""11''1 . I IMM'"5SHti!JHii!aS YVrui'g Up, North ? We had a call yesterday from a gentleman from Bear Lake Valley, who gives us reliable relia-ble information that leads us to think there . is something radically wrong about postal affairs somewhere between thi. city and that northern region. To see a letter put in the mail sack at Paris, Rich Co., addressed to this city, about seven weeks ago, and an important impor-tant letter at that, to see the sack locked and dispatched, and yet for that letter to still be missing, having never come to hand, gives grounds for grave suspicions. We request in this connection, that persons handling and. opening mad sacks, who are so anxious to read the Herald that they must take and bold the paper for a day or two while the news contained in it is digested, had better notify us, and if they are too poor to pay for it we will send them some copies gratis, so that .our subscribers may not be kej.t from receiving re-ceiving their papers in due course of mail. These matters must be seen to. |
