Show A Kt-t-i fpl for tile (.i-fjir. There is a disease among us known to the learned profession as the "three percent, per mouth gripes," vulgarly called "tights," "shorts," "in the cap," &c, iv.c. Now this disease has its seat in the vitals of the pocket, and is sure financial death unless speedily cheeked. It makes its appearance among us with the coming of grasshoppers, grass-hoppers, but flies not half so quick away, and cannot be checked by JIos-tetter's JIos-tetter's Bitters or any other stimulant. I knew a man in '(VI that had the gripes very hard. He took twelve bottles of Hosteller's BittorH,and when he took the last dram he found his pocket was inflamed just eighteen dollars dol-lars more than when he took the first drink. Many of us have died of this disease; dis-ease; ; many of us are lingering in pain, and wilh many mortification has set. in and pain litis ceased. It is only a ipie tion of time; all must die sooner or later, unless speedily helped. I therefore oiler the people what I consider con-sider a sure cure of the three per cent, per month gripes, to wit : Take (he inilk of twenty good cows, and the e';-s of one hundred hens and ten roo-iers; mix together; thru add two bairels of pork of your nwn raising, make into a poultice and apply monthly, month-ly, "or words to that, rllrcl," which means (!liee"o Kaelory.-- A'.:. |
