The Sun says : Chief Justice Chase has lor some time past been suffering from a paralytic stroke, which without entirely destroying de-stroying the use of his limbs incapacitates incapaci-tates him from walking without help, and seriously affects his mind. His recovery is not confidently expected; indeed it is doubtful whether he will again be able to resume the arduous labors of the bench. The Red River Klpedlliuu. Toronto, Sept. 2.
