Show Another Reported Outrage. We had a call yesterday from Mr. Richard White, who had also previously previ-ously appeared before Alderman Clinton, Clin-ton, and reported the details of an attack upon him as he was about entering en-tering his residence on Thursday night. He saj-s he did not see any weapons, and was only subjected to some personal per-sonal abuse. Since his call we have received other information concerning the matter which appears to put it in an entirely different light, and we shall withhold comments waiting developments. develop-ments. We may add, that there was liquor in the affair, and a good deal of confusion in the statements. |
