Show The Keaso.v. A number of our subscribers did not receive their papers yesterday morning, which was a source of no little annoyance to u; as well as a disappointment to them. On inquiry we learned that the carrier who should have delivered them, had, while on his way during the night, fallen iito City Creek in the darkness and the papers were swept from him down stream. Through hi; failing to report at this office we were left in ignorance of the circumstance, until we found by subscribers calling that something had occurred. The young man was not badly injured, but was somewhat demoralized. |
