Show I UNION PACIFIC CHANGES To Be Made on the Mountain Division Divis-ion Very Soon Special to The Herald Cheyenne Wvo Dec 26It is reported re-ported here tonight that several changes will be made in the management manage-ment of the Montana division of the Union Pacific the first of the year The I report which Superintendent L Mul oy would neither deny nor affirm is to the effect that when the Short Line is divorced from the Union Pacific W H Bancroft of Salt Lake will go with it W A Druel division superintendent of the Union Pacific will be general superintendent of the Mountain division divis-ion with headquarters at Denver Superintendent Su-perintendent Mullov with his office force will be moved to Ogden and trains on the Denver Pacific and fifth district of the Union Pacific will be dispatched dis-patched from Cheyenne The dispatchers dispatch-ers now at Laramie and those at Denver Den-ver will be moved here I is thought the sixth district will be cut at Medicine Medi-cine Bow arid dispatchers at Green River who handle trains to Rawlins I only will work as far east as Medicine Bow Prominent railroad men here are of the opinion that Mr Druel will make this city his headquarters as he formerly resided here and it Is thought he can look after his division much better from here than at Denver Railroad Notes DE Burley will go out to the west dip al Mercur today A E De Rlcqles went to Denver last night over the Union Pacific Colonel Donnellan left for Denver over the Union Pacific yesterday A party of bankers and business men headed by M H Walker left last evening even-ing for a rabbit hunt on Hon Francis Armstrongs ranch in Idaho They left by the Union Pacific train at 1 oclock In the evening A special tourist sleeper was placed at ther disposal and fitted up for the occasion They were to remain re-main In the car which reached the ranch at midnight till this morning len the shoot will commence J4r Armstrong went up to the ranch yefe terday to prepare for the event f c |
