Show I THE WRONG HOUSE i I But a Man i the Same Condition i Was Evidently Expected I Washington Post The member of i congress from I wont say where is the kindesthearted fellow alive He was golcr home a few nights ago h < says when he met a young man whi > m I he knows The young man was hope lessly drunk The congressman hap ipened to know where he lived and kindly guided him home A light was I burning in an upper window of the I house and the congressman had no sooner pulled the bell tan the door j was flung open and a tall and vigorous I woman appeared She said not a word but she grabbed the intoxicated young j man by the collar and gave him a shak ing that fairly loosened his teeth in I their sockets Into the hal she shook l him and slammed the door The congressman I con-gressman was descending the steps j when the door opened again and his I friend flew out as if flung from a catapult cata-pult He landed at the foot of the i stairs and the congressman picked him l up He was very much frightened ana I I he was almost sober He managed tap > t-ap out r I We dont live here We we moved last week Thats all the congressmans story but I think the really Interesting thing would be to know what happened to the man who does live there p |
