Show m G HEALTH REPORT I Number of Deaths During September and the Causes I The report of the health department for September shows as follows Deaths 47 rate per 1000 oC population 804 which is 3 less than for the same period last year There were 24 males 23 females 17 married 5 widows and 25 single Twentythree were natives of Utah 1 from other parts of the United States and 13 of foreign birth Only 2 deaths resulted from contagious or infectious disease both toeing typhoid fever Besides the 47 deaths 14 bodies were brought from outside the city for I Interment while 5 bodies were shipped i elsewhere for burial During the month I zyniotig diseases were reported as follows fol-lows inhthjria 2 cases whooping I cough 4 scarlet fever S typhoid fever I 37 eases besides 7 cases outside of the city In the line of births reported there were 41 females and 33 males During September 2900 pounds of condemned con-demned food products were sent to the crematory The number of cases of typhoid reported re-ported luring this year up to Sept 27 was 74 divided as to location as follows fol-lows North of South Temple and east of Main 5 north of South Temple and we of Main 17 south o South Temple Tem-ple and east of main 33 south of South Temple and west of Main 19 The number num-ber of cases reported up to Sept 30 1S90 was 67 |
