INSPECTED THE PROPERTIES I ilcreur Ollieinls Well Pleased With the Showing Made President Dern of the Mercur company com-pany accompanied by Messrs Helm rich Dorsey and George Dern came in from the camp last evening after two days spent at the mill and in the mines of the company It was a thorough inspection of the properties and the gentlemen were extremely well pleased with the showing made While out at the mill Mr Dern ordered or-dered the ijring up of the smelting plant for the reduction of part of the cyanide product on hand and the result re-sult was a gold brick valued at a little ovtr 510000 which has gone to the minL The new retorting plant is doing splendid work and the value of bullion is being run up very rapidly Th re will be no difficulty in making It 995 fine
