happy couple was performed at 630 by Bishop Bish-op Wride The presents were costly and numerous numer-ous and include everything necessary for housekeeping Immediately after the ceremony the bride and groom were the recipients of many and I L hearty congratulations This formality through with the guests were ushered into tne dining room I The beautiful lawn surrounding the I house was tastefully decorated with gaudy colored hanging lamps a small space on the lawn was covered with canvass and to the time of sweet music those who wished enjoyed themselves them-selves in dancing while at the strawberry season Is upon us It was feared that the frost in the early part of the month had destroyed about Jdif tne crop but now it turns out that there are more berries than ever Every body in Bngham raises strawberries and from the small plat by the house to the live acr6 field strawberries have been coming in to the shippers all the past week As a sample of what Is done here are a few figures Last Saturday there were shipped by express from Brigham 235 large double cases containing twenty four cups Sunday 95 cases Monday 510 luesday 40o Wednesday 460 Thursday 313 making a total ot 2011 cases during six days The berries are of an excellent quality and bring about 30 cents per case This means over 51SOOO for Brigham City for strawberries alone strawberry towns bring out your records rec-ords and beat this one if you can Our neighboring city of Corinne is get ting back her old time reputation of a shipping point Farmers from Box Elder and Cache counties are hauling their wheat there where they get from 45 to 50 cents per bushel From the 25th or May over 40000 bushels of wheat have been shipped from Corinne This means a good sum of money distributed among thE > farmers of their region Logan Lines LOGAN June 27Mr and Mrs Lute Farrs handsome residence was a blaze of glory last evening the occasion being a large lawn fete given in honor or Mr Melvin J Ballard who In company of B H Roberts and George D Pyper leaves for an extended tour through the various cities of the United States The lawn was gracefully decorated with bunting and Chinese lanterns Strawberries
