| Show The School Land Case Now On The hearing in the school land contest case was resumed in the land office yesterday I yester-day In behalf of the contestants Mr Bertignola a gardener testified that he had I been using a few acres of the land in controversy con-troversy for gardening purposes for several seve-ral years past and had netted 1500 from I the produce raised upon it by him John Edwards D P Anderson and L S Clark who are thoroughly familiar wits the land gave some strong evidence in support of the theory that it is agricultural They testified that from five to seven tons of lucern per acre was raised on the land The evidence introduced yesterday will go a long way toward disproving the claim that the section is mineral land even though the claimants have introduced a lot of flower pots to prove that it is mineral The hearing will be resumed today and the I J case will be submitted by Saturday next |
