build a local telegraph line from Milford to Beaver via Minersville thence via Fremont springs directly east to Kesslers ranch or Joseph Bettensons on the Sevier river and from this point it is to follow as near as practicable the county road on the west bank of the river via Orton to Pan guitch From Bettensons or Kesslers ranch the line will extend north down the canyon can-yon of the river to Circleville and Junction Junc-tion city From here it will diverge going go-ing east to Clover Flat and into Grass valley to Greenwich and Koosharem which is intended to be the terminus for the present But i the enterprise meets with sufficient support from resident subscribers I sub-scribers in Wayne county it will be extended ex-tended to Loa and Fremont and there find its final termination The cost of construction has been figured and this journal will say to its readers and the public that it will not require re-quire any such effort on the part of the prominent residents in the towns villages lages and districts to be benefitted that it did when the old Deseret telegraph line was constructed in 1S66 and 1867 It can be built for less than half the amount per mile it cost thsn and any person who cannot subscribe the cash to purchase wire brackets insulators and instruments instru-ments can get an Interest by furnishing furnish-ing poles and putting them up equal in every respect to those who can and will necessarily have to help with cash for the procuring of cash material from the east This is intended as a local benefit and will consequently be a local enterprise and while big dividends are not expected at the start those desiring an interest can be assured there will be no Irish dividends but a great deal of individual and local benefit and putting into their
