bably be taken up by the council at an early date The computations are be ing made for the purpose of arriving at the rebates which will be due the I property owners on the street The estimate of the owners mentioned 11 The original plan contemplated the putting in of a cut f 110S feet in i length The change would require the I use of an additional 342 feet of S inch pipe and as the water works I department I depart-ment has not that amount of pipe on I hand it is more than likely I that the I I change will not be ordered During I I the week > the department has been I engaged in lowering water mains exposed j ex-posed on East Capitol avenue by the laborers In the employ of the joint city and county building committee and in looking after the several water systems in general general
