| Show BIneham the Old Sellable The new machinery recently placed In j I P l < 1 i < tho North Last Chance mill n Is working satisfactory Yosemite No 2 sent in 100 tons The Fairview sent in a carload The Highland shipped fifty tons I Three hundred tons came from the Brooklyn Brook-lyn One car came from the North Last Chance I The Old Jordan ana South Galena eent in 500 tons e The Sampson sent in sixty tons of the usual grade Two shifts are being worked on the Argentine Ar-gentine tunnel The Rough and Ready made another shipment of good ore Tbe Saturn bad a shipment of twenty tons goitfs 38 lead and 23 silver The Niagara mill is being overtaxed with Old Jordan and South Galena ores Scott Bush lessees and operators of the Agnes lode made a now strike the lat ler part ot last week which is supposed to be white lead They have also made anew a-new lind of carbonate ore which Is of considerable con-siderable extent and looks exceedingly well Messrs Scott Bush are both hardworking hard-working industrious men and we are glad to know that fortune is smiling so fiatter ingly upon them Bulletin A P Mayberry has out quite a nice shipment of firstclass galena from his lease on the lower workings of the Old Dixon mine which he will send in soon He is working ono shift on tho ore body mentioned in our last issue and it is improving im-proving both in quality ana size with each hours work Ho also keeps a force steadily stead-ily at work sinking the incline to tap the tunnel at the point where the ore is being taken out Messrs Final Johnson Hagplum lessees and operators of the upper up-per workings of the Old Dixon are driving the tunnel ahead and expect to strike anew a-new chute at any hour Bulletin D W Tcachenor has taken alease on the Navajo lode one of Mr Halls properties up Markham gulch and began work on the same the latter part of last week The property has been worked a great deal but nothing of worth was ever found on it by the prior operators Whether it can be attributed tn Mr Teachenors accute sense of smell his power of sight to see further into a hill than other people or his superior knowledge as a mining expert is a question ques-tion at any rate he has struck a nice body of steel galena ore on the Norvou since he began working in less than a week ago Tne new find wan made near the surface and promises to develop intoa paying mine Bulletin |
