Show Jess Agraz To Advise On Btfl. Mall Study BOUNTIFUL Former Salt Lake Com. Jess Agraz will be used as an advisor for a study of proposed downtown shopping mall, it was announced recently. GARY MACHAN, representing repre-senting Machan, Pruit and Properties Inc., who will do the study, told the Bountiful Redevelopment Board of Directors that Mr. Agraz will be used by the development firm because of Mr. Agraz' expertise ex-pertise in this field. "We realize that we are not totally an unbiased group to do the study," said Mr. Machan. "And we will appreciate input from Mr. Agraz as well as citizens in the community." HE TOLD the RDA boad that nothing the three study committees have said or done "is offensive to us" and we welcome any input that they may have. Mr. Machan also reminded the board that "whatever the development firm plans to do must be compatible with existing ex-isting businesses and the desires de-sires of the people." HE SAID Mr. Agraz will be especially helpful in the study of traffic flow and potential problems. He noted that a preliminary pre-liminary traffic study should be completed "within the next few weeks." Mr. Macham said a representative repre-sentative of a major department depart-ment store was in town a couple cou-ple of weeks ago but that he (Machan) was not in a positon to say at this time the name of the interested department store, grb |
