Show Discussion or Chinese Immigration WASHINGTON Feb 5The House committee com-mittee on immigration today further discussed dis-cussed the subject of Chinese immigration but came to no conclusion There is an evident disposition on the part of members of the committee to report a bill in relation t the subject at an early day The subcommittee sub-committee on Chinese immigration appointed appoint-ed today consisting of Gelssenhainer Hare and Ketchum arranged for a meeting meet-ing tomorrow with Chairman Stump and Representative Geary of California both of whom have introduced bills to prohibit Chinese immigration The sub committee hopes to report its conclusion to the full committee at I special meeting next week |
