| Show A VERY YOUNG FIEND He Ravishes 3 Little Girl Not Yet Six Years of ARC A southern correspondent writes us Avery A-very disgraceful affair was recently brought tolight in the little town of Thurber Ira Johnson a youth between fifteen and sixteen six-teen years of age ravished a little girl between be-tween five and six years old Johnson was arrested and give a preliminary examination examina-tion ut which he emphatically denied the charge of rape to which he was called to answer but the evidence being very conclusive con-clusive against him he was held in 1500 bonds to await the action of the grand jury The child claims that every time Johnson met her between the 3rd and 23rd days of July ho abused ana insulted her and finally accomplished his fiendish purpose The people in general are indignant over the case and no sympathy is extended to the defendant For some time past the people of Fremont Fre-mont settlement have been aware of the fact that as a consequence ot the eastern part ot the present town site being low and camp it was unfit for an abode The stake authorities visited the place last week and recommended the removal of the eastern part of the town to the west which will west l accordingly bo done at once The change will require about onefifth of the population popula-tion t build now residences and also necessitate neces-sitate the removal and reconstruction of the tithing office and meeting house Recently the water right belonging to Johnson valley was purchased by the enterprising en-terprising citizens of Rabbit valley hence they can hereafter boast of having tee best water supply in the rAt S r-At Loa preparations are being made t build a stake tabernacle The bricks are now ready and the masons will begin work at once Loa is t have a roller gristmill too according to the talk of Mr McCullen who is father the enterprise |
