Show iiU'L-Jiiiigiiii UGOO By KATHRYN JENNINGS 867-2027 Mable Ferguson was married to Leo D. Sandall of Salem, Ore. in early June. The couple was married in Reno, Nev., and are now liv- ing in Salem, where Mr. Sandall San-dall has a business. Robert and Claire Field and family will be moving to California during the summer. They will be selling their home on East Paulette Way. Mr. Field will be the vice president of Olson Farms Eggs, Los Angeles and Sherman Sher-man Oaks. Esther Daub has returned from a three week vacation in the northwest and Alaska. She first visited with friends in Longview and Kelso, Kel-so, Wash., then flew to Kenai, Alaska, to visit a granddaughter grand-daughter and family. Bill and Joan Earl Higgins and family, former residents here, met Mrs. Daub. She was their house guest and enjoyed sightseeing in the area. There were several visits to Homer, a fishing area nearby. She also al-so visited the senior citizen center in Kenai for several days and reported that this was a very fine facility with meals and programs for the seniors. Dan and Christine Shepherd have Christine's parents as summer guests. Raul and Marguerite Lallet of Limoges, France have returned re-turned to visit the Shepherd family. They are enjoying some sightseeing and will return re-turn to France later in the summer. Jim and Claudette Evans and children, Nichole, Kristin and Darin have returned from a holiday with Lyndon and LeeAnn Evans and family in Portland, Ore. The families attended the spectacular Rose Festival parade while there. They also boarded some of the U.S. Naval ships anchored in the harbor, open for visitors. Kathryn Jennings attended the 60th reunion of her high school graduating class in Kansas City, Kan., last week. More than 40 members of the class of 165, attended. She was a guest at the home of her sister and husband, Louise and Henry Erhardt and visited visit-ed a number of relatives and friends in the area. Ray and Jerry Wood have spent the past three weeks traveling to Missouri and Illinois and the surrounding states. They visited historic towns along the way and in Illinois, were guests of relatives. Returning Re-turning by way of Kansas, there were stops to see many interesting cities and museums and at Dodge City, Kan., there were relics of the early west settlers and replicas of that era. In Colorado Springs they toured the Garden of the Gods and Royal Gorge before returning re-turning to Utah. |
