Show Reservists Called To Active Duty HILL AFB - Several Air Force Reservists from Utah joined more than 200 other reservists from five western states for a weeklong training exercise half way across the country. SOME 250 reservists, representing Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Washington and California, will train at Volk Field, located about 30 miles from LaCrosse, Wise. Among the reservists are 14 F-105 fighter pilots from the 508th Tactical Fighter Group, Hill AFB, who flew their own planes to the site while the other reservists were flown in a C-5 and two C-141 transport planes along with other support sup-port personnel. AIR FORCE officials said the training operation will focus on tactical deployment of fighter aircraft and tactical air drops.
