Third District Conrt Before Judge Zane yesterday in the case of Jesse Bell et al vs Charles D St George et 11 the motion to strike out mended complaint heretofore submitted overruled and proceedings stayed until motion to attach and ten days to answer is disposed of The people etc vs James L Smith criminal libel motion for continuance by defendant allowed The case of the People vs John T Sweeny et 11 came up for trial in the afternoon and occupied the remainder of the day The forged check it was alleged by defense was found on the race track at Park City last Fourth of July by de fondant and eiven to John Martin to pass who did it This seemed to be correct as the jury brought in a verdict of not guilty
