| Show d Chamber of Commerce Meeting I The directors of the chamber of commerce com-merce President West in the chair met last evening in special session and considered con-sidered several important matters not yet ready for publication Among them were propositions from two manufacturing concerns con-cerns seeking locations in Salt Lake One of these will employ some seventyfive and the other about sixty hands Six new applications for membership were referred to the proper committee The following resolution was unanimously unani-mously adopted Resolved That the thanks of this chamber of commerce and of the citizens of Salt Lake are due to the hotels for the generous gen-erous rates given also t the local railway officials for courtesies shown and to the Grant Bros company who gratuitously furnished all conveyances used during the entertainment of the traveling passenger I i agents of the Rock Island railway system The board adjourned to meet again on Monday eening when business of particular partic-ular importance will be brought before them Each member is urged to be present promptly at 730 p m I |
