Nye will be honored by their family July 15 on the occasion w of their golden wedding anniversary. They were married mar-ried July 19, 1932 in Burley, Ida. and later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. MR. NYE was born in Bur-ley, Bur-ley, Ida., a son of Stephen and Rose Caroline Frodsham. He has been active in community and church. He is the founder of Charles W. Nye and Sons Const. Co. He served as a past president of the Bountiful Lions Club and Good Sam Chapter Beehive Roamers. He is presently serving in the High Priest Quorum presidency of the Val Verda 4th Ward. Mrs. Nye is the former Alta Sorensen of Rexburg, Ida. She is the daughter of Hans and Maggie Taylor Sorensen. She served as a past president of the Lady Lions Club. She is the secretary of Charles W. Nye and Sons Const. Co. She is retired from Hill AFB where she worked as a production control scheduler. She is currently cur-rently secretary of the Relief Society in the Val Verda 4th Ward. THE NYES are parents of six children, Marilyn N. Jensen, Jen-sen, Vance C. Nye, L. Gary Nye, B. Kent Nye, R. Bruce Nye and Valerie N. Keeler. They have 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. An open house will be held July 15, 1982 between the hours of 7-9:30 p.m. at the Val Verda 4th Ward, 2633 S. 50 W., Bountiful. |
