Show Eavthanalce at ilinersville A correspondent writing from Miners villa says We have had from one to thirty shocks of earthquake every day for the past two months On the 23d we had eighteen shocks but not very heavy On the 24th we indulged in twentyone shocks The shocks areS much more severe at Lincoln than here We are 350 feet under the Creole mountain Some days there is a continual con-tinual boom all day long resembling the sound of distant heavy artillery and the shocks are sometimes accompanied accom-panied by a strong electric current which is felt with greater force by those working underground and to such an extent as to almost daze one for a few seconds We have now become so accustomed to these disturbances that they attract but little attention |
