Show LARCENY OR WHAT A BespectaWe Rancher Arrested on a Charge of Grand Larceny Mr Harry Holt a ranche and cattleman cattle-man well known in Millard County was arrested at section 48 near Milford on Monday and brought to the city by a deputy marshal He remained that night in the Pen and was yesterday taken to Ogden the complaint having been made out before Commissioner Felshawof that city He waived examination ex-amination and cave bonds of 2000 to await the action of the Grand Jury As near as a reporter could ascertain ascer-tain the facts in the case areas are-as follows The complaint was sworn out by Orth Bros for the Indiana Land and Cattle Company and it charges Mr Holt with the crime of grand larceny Some two years ago it is said when Mr Holt had a partnership partner-ship interest in Orth Bros cattle business busi-ness they sent him a bunch of calves to winter He wintered them for two seasons without mating any accounting account-ing to Orth Bros Their claim is that they had tried repeatedly to secure a settlement but had been unable to and had no other recourse than to proceed against him on the charge of larceny the amount involved is about 2000 Mr Holts side of the case remains to be heard |
