| Show Telegraphers Grievances Chicago Considerable excitement was created in telegraph circles this morning by making public the fact that a secret session of the brotherhood of telegraphers tel-egraphers bad recently been held here when a memorial wes drawn up to bi presented to the board of directors of the Western Union Telegraph Co setting forth the operators grievances and asking an amelioration of the same In case the petition is not received favorably by the authorities of the Western Union the executive board of the Telegraphers Brotherhood isempowered to call a strike of the fraternity and will go out promptly within three days after presentation of the petition Atieadquarters it is also stated that tho date is i secret but not far distant |
