ancient adobes in America leaving the train at one time to go into the plaza of a pueblo to witness an Indian dance especially arranged The color of the tIle southwest tinted his reception at all the various stops along the way Arriving there at 5 the President President dent was greeted by b one of the largest audiences of his territorial travels of the past three days and aroused intense en enthusiasm enthusiasm by a repetition of the declara declarations he made in Arizona that he favored statehood for the two remaining terri tern territories tories of the United States and would do doall doall doall all in his power to see sec se that the longde hopes of the people of Arizona and New Mexico are gratified The President spoke from a platform near the railroad station and was later entertained at a Ii banquet at the Alvarado hotel by the Commercial club Following l the banquet the President stopped half haIr an hour at the Montezuma ball an annual function rivaling a fete of
