Show Jessamine Literary Closing The senior and junior Jessamine Jes-samine clubs held the closing meeting and luncheon for the combined clubs Saturday May 14, 1977 at the Oakridge Country Club, Farmington. MRS. DORA Trowbridge, " senior club president and Mrs. Alice Smith, junior club president were in charge and each greeted the members and guests present. Luncheon was served to fifty-eight members and special guests. Those who had guests introduced them to the group. A MUSICAL program was presented under the direction of Mrs. Alice Carlson of the senior club. The program follows: 1. Sonata for Oboe and Piano by Motzart, by Mike Paul oboe and Pat Cowles piano; 2. Etude D Flat, Piano, Pat Cowles; 3. Vocalize-Piano and Oboe, Rochmoninoff by Mr. Paul and Mrs. Cowles; 4. Theme from Symphony in C, by Bizet, second movement was presented by the guest artists. MRS. MABLE Gabott, a senior club member, presented present-ed some of her original poems. They were very appropriate for the day as they were pertaining to mothers, grandmothers and family. New officers were introduced in-troduced and an appreciation given to the retiring officers. The new club president for the senior club is Mrs. Robert Carlson and for the juniors, Mrs. Jean Bosch.
