Show S MAYOR E.T.JOHNSON I Farmington Gets WJeiv PJlayor i Mayor E.T. (True) John- S son, Farmington, was $ recently named mayor of Farmington. HE WILL fill the unexpired term of Gordon Van Fleet who found it necessary to resign because of ill health. The remaining term of office will be three years. Mr. Johnson has been a resident of Farmington since , 1966, retired from the U.S. Air i Force in 1967. HE WAS then sales i manager for Syro Steel Com-i Com-i pany, Centerville, for a year i and is presently self ; employed. Mr. Johnson attended Oregon State College and grew up in the Boise, Idaho valley, served in World War II as a navigator. The family has lived in various places in the United States during his service career. He also served in the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. HE IS married to the former Mary Abbott of Idaho and their children are Trudy Bradford, American Fork; Teresa Draper, Safford, Ariz.; Jim Johnson, Farmington; Far-mington; Janice Johnson, Salt Lake City; Robert and Stephen Johnson, both of Provo; and David Johnson, who attends Davis High School and lives at home, kj |
