MARKISICH Exchange Vows The Salt Lake LDS Temple was the setting on May 31 for the wedding of Laurie Gibbs and Ernest G. Markisich. S. Lawrence Moss performed the wedding rites. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin J. Gibbs of 1079 S. 350 W., Bountiful. Ernest is the son of Veronica A. Markisich of Woods Cross and Ernest George Markisich, Jr. of Bluffdale, Utah. A wedding breakfast was hosted at the Print Shop in Salt Lake City hosted by the groom's mother. Barnes Colonial Square Reception Center hosted the reception (hat evening. THE BRIDE wore a gown of white organza with appliqued lace on bodice and bell sleeves. It had a deep ruffle on hem with appliqued lace. Flowers were pale peach roses and baby breath in old fashioned bouquet. Tracy Gibbs, sister of the bride, was maid of honor with Mrs. Randy Lund, sister of the groom; Miss Carla Anderson An-derson and Miss Cindy Gibbs, cousin and Lisa Gibbs, sister, as bridesmaids. They wore apricot dotted Swiss gowns with deep ruffle at neck and hem and full skirts. They wore white picture hats trimmed with apricot ribbon and daisies. Fiowers were daisies, white and apricot roses and carnations. THE GROOM'S mother wore a peach gown with white lace and wore white roses. The bride's mother wore a peach polyester gown with white roses. Charity Lund was a flower girl. PAUL Tooman was best man. Ushers were David S. Markisich, Brad W. Gibbs and Michael Gibbs. Prenuptial parties were given by Cathy and coworkers co-workers of McKay-Dee Hospital, Hos-pital, Mrs. Randy Lund, Mrs. J. R. Gibbs and Cindy, Mrs. Hall Burrup and Mrs. Floyd Anderson and Carla. LAURIE attended Weber State and is employed at McKay-Dee Hospital. Ernest attended Weber College and Trade Tech and is employed in Bountiful at Tunex. He was in the U.S. Navy. AFTER A honeymoon to Yellowstone and Jackson, Wyo., they will make their home in Bountiful. |
